Arrivée en Belgique en 1997, après avoir été chanteuse, bassiste (Zap Mama / les Tambours de Brazza), percussioniste et danseuse, Manou Gallo a maintenant son propre groupe : le « Djiboi », avec lequel elle interprète la musique africaine d'une façon très inventive et moderne.

Pour la musique, elle a été inspirée par le Djiboi (les habitants de la Côte d'Ivoire sa patrie), mais aussi par sa culture musicale occidentale actuelle. La combinaison de soul, funk et blues appartient au concept du « groove », un dénominateur commun. Une musique du monde chaude, pleine d'émotion et de sensibilité exprimées en langues diverses (Dida, en français et anglais), voilà tout Manou Gallo et le Djiboi !
